King Abdullah's and Queen Rania's state visit to Holland

 




On the second and last day of King Abdullah's and Queen Rania's state visit to The Netherlands, Queen Máxima and Queen Rania visit roc Mondrian's Engineering & ICT campus in The Hague. The visit is dedicated to the nature of secondary vocational education in the Netherlands and how this combination of learning and working can increase the chances of the labour market. In the Technology Innovation House, students show some of the projects they carry out on behalf of companies. Queen Máxima and Queen Rania talk to students, teachers and entrepreneurs about their experiences and then visit the practice rooms of the School of Construction and Infrastructure and of the School of Automotive Engineering and Mobility.  And after, the Prime Minister joined the official luncheon with King Willem-Alexander, Queen Mexima, King Abdullah II and Queen Rania. The aim of the Government Luncheon was to introduce the Jordanian delegation to innovative Dutch solutions from the government, businesses and knowledge institutions, given the Jordanian challenges in the fields of water, food and energy.
