French President in Washinghton

President of France Macron’s three-day state visit to Washington took place from April 23 to 25, 2018. It was the first foreign leader hosted by the Trump White House for a state visit, and his trip came in the wake of France’s participation alongside the United Kingdom in U.S.-led airstrikes against the Assad regime in Syria.  France's President   Emmanuel Macron  and wife   Brigitte  received with a warm welcome to the White House by The American  President Donald Trump  and his wife   Melania .  The French first couple arrived at the president's mansion just after 9 am by limousine, where they were greeted by a military band on the White House's South Lawn.  Thereafter, Melania Trump and Brigitte Macron visited the works of Paul Cezanne at the National Gallery of Art. The first ladies of the United States and France toured an exhibit of about 60 portraits by the French post-Impressionist painter.

K ing Harald  and  Queen Sonja  of Norway accepted an invitation from King Abdullah and Queen Rania of Jordan to pay a state visit in 2020. The Norwegian royals visited Jordan from 2 to 4 March, marking King Harald's first state visit to the Middle East. It's also been 20 years since King Abdullah and Queen Rania travelled to Norway in an official capacity. The state visit began with the country's capital city Amman, where the official welcoming ceremony took place. it provided "an opportunity to explore new prospects for business cooperation between Norwegian and Jordanian partners." Highlights of the trip also included a visit to a girls' school in the city of Salt and the ancient city of Petra.

  King Abdullah and Queen Rania of Jordan came to Washington for a two day working visit. President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump greeted King Abdullah II and his wife, Queen Rania, on Monday afternoon. President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump met with King Abdullah and Queen Rania of Jordan in the Oval Office of the White House in Washington, DC.

Macedonia's Presidential Couple

The first stop of   Their Excellencies Gjorge Ivanov and First Lady Maja Ivanova of the Republic of Macedonia's  visit began with an official welcoming ceremony for the presidential couple upon their arrival at Al Husseiniya Palace. His Majesty and President Ivanov reviewed a guard of honor as a military band played the national anthem of both countries.  Bilateral meetings and discussions were tabled which was attended by Her Majesty and The First Lady. Both leaders discussed means to forge closer cooperation between the two countries, mainly in the economic, tourism, development, military, security and information technology fields.  After this meetings, His Majesty King Abdullah welcomed the Macedonian President and the accompanying delegation for extended talks which included a working lunch in the presence of a number of senior officials.

London Initiative Conference

    King Abdullah II urged investors and global business leaders to benefit from the competitive advantages and opportunities offered by Jordan’s economy.  In a keynote speech at Jordan: Growth and Opportunity, the London Initiative Conference, King Abdullah highlighted Jordan’s powerhouse of talented, aspiring young people and central geo-strategic position, connecting continents and markets.  His Majesty said in the speech, attended by Queen Rania, that Jordan’s free trade agreements give businesses access to a billion customers around the world, noting that Jordan’s respected international role stands behind the Kingdom’s established trade relationships.

Queen Rania Teacher Academy -June 2019

  Queen Rania of Jordan visited the Queen Rania Teacher Academy  at the University of Jordan for an update on the progress of its training programs. During the visit, the Queen met with the academy’s staff and a group of teachers. Queen Rania Teacher Academy   was established in 2009 to raise the quality of teaching in Jordan by developing the skills of teachers through continuous training and professional development.
