On the occasion of World Cancer Research Day

 


As Honorary President of the Spanish Association Against Cancer and the Scientific Foundation, Queen Letizia attended the World Cancer Research Day event in Madrid. For the first time, 11 organizations, including the Union for International Cancer Control, have agreed to mark September 24 as the World Cancer Research Day. The global campaign aims to raise the awareness of public about the importance of cancer research and the extraordinary contributions of cancer researchers worldwide.

Prince Henrik of Denmark's birthday portraits

The  Danish royals  have released two new images of one of the younger members of their family and they were taken by an unexpected photographer!  Prince Joachim  and  Princess Marie  shared the portraits of their son, Prince Henrik, on Instagram, to mark his 11th birthday on 4 May and they were captured by his eight-year-old sister, Princess Athena.
