Official opening of "Dronningens Ansigter"

At Frederiksborg Castle, several portraits of royalty hang through time, and a new one has been added to the collection. On the occasion of Her Majesty the Queen's 80th birthday, a new portrait of Her Majesty has been unveiled. The portrait was painted by the artist Niels Strebek, part of the exhibition "The Faces of the Queen" at the National Museum of History, which was also created on the occasion of the round anniversary. The exhibition depicts Her Majesty's life, work and special interests by exhibiting films, costumes, scenographic elements and photographic portraits of the Queen through time. In addition to Her Majesty, the couple of Crown Princes also participated in the opening of the portrait and exhibition.
