Act of Día del Cooperante

 



On the 8th September, the Spanish Cooperation commemorates Cooperative's Day in honour of professionals who work for sustainable human development and fight against poverty in vulnerable parts of the world. The date coincides with the Declaration of the Millennium of United Nations where 189 heads of state pledged to meet the Millennium Development Goals in September 2000. Thus committing world leaders to combat poverty, hunger, disease, illiteracy, environmental degradation, and discrimination against women in the first 15 years.​ King Felipe with Queen Letizia attended a meeting where they had the opportunity to listen to the testimonies of aid workers who informed them of the challenges that COVID-19 has imposed on their respective countries.

  Queen Maxima paid a working visit to a Parnassia Group Mental Health Facility in The Hague. The visit focused on the possible impact of the corona pandemic on mental health care, focusing on both current problems and opportunities and new developments. Prince Henrik of Denmark's birthday portraits

The  Danish royals  have released two new images of one of the younger members of their family and they were taken by an unexpected photographer!  Prince Joachim  and  Princess Marie  shared the portraits of their son, Prince Henrik, on Instagram, to mark his 11th birthday on 4 May and they were captured by his eight-year-old sister, Princess Athena.
