San Martin de La Vega Visit




The King and Queen of Spain showed support for agricultural work and the strategic importance of the primary sector by visiting Vega de San Martín Agrarian Transformation Society, San Martín de la Vega, Community of Madrid.  Together, they saw the cultivation of cereals, through to the breeding, feeding, and milking of the animals, to the cheese area. They toured the farmland, grain warehouses, stables, and factory. In the housing area where people who work in the agricultural and livestock farm reside, Their Majesties held a meeting where they valued their work during the pandemic.

  Queen Maxima paid a working visit to a Parnassia Group Mental Health Facility in The Hague. The visit focused on the possible impact of the corona pandemic on mental health care, focusing on both current problems and opportunities and new developments. Queen Maxima spoke for the first time to people with mental health problems about the impact of the corona pandemic on themselves and their treatment.  Severe psychiatric patients often have physical complaints and are a very vulnerable target group in addition to the elderly. Prince Henrik of Denmark's birthday portraits

The  Danish royals  have released two new images of one of the younger members of their family and they were taken by an unexpected photographer!  Prince Joachim  and  Princess Marie  shared the portraits of their son, Prince Henrik, on Instagram, to mark his 11th birthday on 4 May and they were captured by his eight-year-old sister, Princess Athena.
